#010 Step by Step Tutorial - Portrait using Coloured Pencils and Zest-it

This tutorial features 26 pages of guided instructions on how to do a coloured pencil portrait using Zest-it Pencil Blend Solvent on Pastelmat to get lovely smooth skin tones, and a very realistic look. It also includes information on how to combine Pan Pastels with your coloured pencils for a softly blended background.

This tutorial includes pencils from a range of brands including Caran D'ache Pablo's, Derwent Studio pencils, Faber Castell Polychromos and Prismacolor Verithins. Unless you have an extensive range of pencils, or are looking to purchase more, it is recommended that you also download the Coloured Pencil Conversion Charts so that you will know which colours to substitute from your own range.
