This 21 page tutorial guides you with progressive step by step images on how to draw this gorgeous portrait using coloured pencils on drafting film. You can apply the techniques you learn in this tutorial to create your own realistic portraits. Drafting film is a translucent polyester paper which gives a lovely luminous quality to your portraits. You can find more information about drafting film on the Information Page.

This tutorial has been created almost entirely with Faber Castell Polychromo pencils. If you have a different brand of pencils, you may find the Coloured Pencil Coversion Charts helpful in determining which pencils to substitute from your own range.
